[J-core] MimasV2Config.py: unable to read SPI Flash ID

Trevor, that's exactly what I'm seeing.

Apparently pyserial in Ubuntu is old & broken.

Personally, I wouldn't mind just rewriting it in C to work more reliably
and with zero dependencies.
