I've been fighting with it this past week, and sent what I had to Rich
Felker a couple days ago, and he figured out why I was blocked (tl;dr
mercurial is kinda buggy and git's error messages are completely
uninformative).

I'm unblocked but suffering from a stomach bug and I have a day long
airplane ordeal back to austin starting around midnight tonight.

Sorry, trying to get this up as fast as I can...
