I misspoke. The build host will be Ubuntu 14, which already has icestorm and Xilinx tools on it. I'm open to suggestions what distribution I should build for J2. I did gentoo for a few years for SPARC. I probably want to end up with Debian eventually. I'll check into Alpine. Brian
